EVENT UPDATE
We had 15 in attendance including 4 teachers from Sepulveda! It's a great way to experience democracy in action. Lots of testimony by several district superintendents, State Superintendent, administration. Public comment by students from White Pine County & a couple young kids & mom from Henderson. We were limited to only 2 people, had 8 ready. The meeting will be continued so hopefully some can come back to give their testimony. We had the kids from Henderson deliver our postcards to the governor's office - got them a tour of his office since he was out!STAND UP FOR EDUCATION
